Bison and Pork Meatballs
Just a simple recipe. High in protein, great flavor, and really simple ingredients. Bake and use with pasta and sauce.
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground bison
- ¼ pound ground pork
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic granulated or fresh
- 1 small yellow onion finely diced
- 3 tablespoons fresh parsley
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 tablespoon thyme fresh or dried
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to bake 350 degrees F.
- In a medium mixing bowl add the ground bison, ground pork, and seasonings. Mix well to incorporate.
- Using your hands, form the mixture into balls about 1-inch in diameter.
- Place on parchment paper on a sheet pan in the oven and monitor 1/2 hour at a time, turn as necessary.
- Remove and serve.
